What is the Learner Plan?

The Learner Plan forms the framework of our Pass Guarantee scheme. This structured plan is made up of individual goals that have been designed to pull together all of the essential Theory Test revision topics. If followed and completed step by step, you are guaranteed to strike a pass or your test fee back (cool right?).

Regardless of your learning style and knowledge level, there is so much noise and endless Theory Test information online, which can sometimes confuse or overwhelm learners. Our Learner Plan has done the hard work for you by laying out a clear set of goals and study topics that will aid you throughout your revision process.

Our Pass Guarantee Learner Plan uses a traffic light system, which allows you to easily see how you’re progressing. When incomplete each goal will display a red light, then amber when you’re in progress, and finally green once completed:

Starting with the multiple choice part of the test, our Learner Plan covers the entire revision question bank from the DVSA (the people who set the test), covering all 14 categories.

We strongly recommend that you make good use of the DVSA explanations that accompany each question. This will help you to gain a thorough understanding of each of the questions and will better prepare you for your test.

To get a green traffic light in the Theory Test section you must:

• Correctly answer all questions across all Theory Test categories.
• Successfully pass a minimum of 5 mock Theory Tests scoring 96% or higher, 4 of which must be passed consecutively within 14 days of your test.

The Hazard Perception

So you’ve nailed all your Theory Test practise and completed all of your mock tests…now it’s time to tackle the Hazard Perception Test.

Similar to the practice Theory Test categories, you will be faced with 20 essential practice videos which cover rural and urban settings. You must watch and score AT LEAST 4 out of 5 on each clip to fully complete this section of the Learner Plan and turn your traffic light green.

Again, to get a green traffic light for the Hazard Perception section of the Learner Plan you must:

• Watch the Hazard Perception introduction video.
• Achieve a minimum of 4 out of 5 stars across the 20 Essential Revision Clips.
• Successfully pass a minimum of 5 mock Hazard Perception Tests scoring 80% or higher, 4 of which must be passed consecutively within 14 days of your test.
