The Hide & Shriek challenge in our award-winning app is now well underway, and if you’re here, it means you’re ready to uncover the last few hidden ghouls!
We know that our sneaky ghouls are experts at hiding, but you can’t give up just yet. With over £1 million worth of our Practical Driving Course still up for grabs, the hunt is on!
To help you in your quest, we’ve put together some hints and tips that will make spotting your remaining hidden ghouls just that little bit easier.
Don’t forget to check the ghoul summary screen in your app to see which ones you still need to find. Depending on where the last few ghouls you need to complete the challenge are hiding, be sure to check the tips for each specific module to help you track them down!
Theory Test module
The green ghouls are hidden throughout all areas of this module and you should be able to find each of them as you work through your regular Theory Test practice and Mock Test sessions.
If you haven’t spotted them yet, be sure to explore sections like ‘Learning to drive,’ ‘Advice and information,’ ‘Practice revision settings,’ ‘Category help videos,’ and ‘Stopping distances’. You’ll likely catch them sneaking around there!
Hazard Perception module
Just like you would keep an eye out for developing hazards, stay alert for those clever burgundy ghouls that love to hide!
Watch closely as you go through the summary screens that follow the CGI clips, and don’t overlook the picture thumbnails in the ‘Real life clips’ section because those are prime hiding spots for the burgundy ghouls.

Highway Code module
Our turquoise ghouls love playing hide-and-seek in the Highway Code! When you’re exploring the ‘Bookmarks’ section, take a closer look because you might just spot one lurking in the shadows. And while you’re in the ‘Index,’ don’t forget to check the ‘Filter’ option too. You never know where a sneaky ghoul might be waiting to be found!
Road Signs module
Those orange ghouls are hiding all throughout the Road Signs module, lurking in sections like ‘Categories’ and ‘Getting Started’. Keep an eye out as you move through the content, especially when taking quizzes, as they love to appear when you least expect it.
Make sure to review your answers after each quiz because you might just uncover one of those sneaky ghouls hiding among them.
